Captain Semper came to the notice of the Inner Circle in early 2012 when the B+C forums held their annual Librarian Painting Challenge (LPC 2012) It was Captain Semper's extremely infectious enthusiasm that initially enrolled a record 52 battle brothers to take up vows of completion.
The constant encouragement, data accumulation and analysis and leading by example eventually led to 42 of the battle brothers completing their vows for an astounding 81% completion rate, a record in the three year history of the LPC.
