Welcome to the war room of the Fortress of the Unforgiven. Here, you will find detailed analysis of tactical and strategic battlefield doctrine relating to our beloved chapter. The articles have been mostly contributed to this site by very experienced and battle hardened Masters of the chapter. In a few instances I had discovered some sound strategies during my travels in to the warp, and although the sites where these articles were stored are no longer present in the warp I have managed to preserve their essence and reproduce them here for the benefit of our brethren. As always, credit is given where it is due, but inthe rare occasion where I have not been able to either identify the author or contact him, credit is attributed to the "Unknown Master". If you are one such person please contact me. As the Fortress endured the years and saw successive arrival of the third and then fourth editions of the games, tactics and strategies changed.  As I went through all these article during the process of the fourth refurbishment of the site, I marvelled at how useful the oldest of these article were. All you had to do was to remember the few new rules and additions but the general essence remains unchanged. Most of the advice rang true even in the latest editions. It is also fitting that such great articles be preserved for posterity. Each article has an icon adjacent to it denoting the version of the game it was directed at. I hope the efforts of the experienced gamers who have endeavoured to share their experiences with you will stimulate many of you to enjy the experience of gaming on the side of the Unforgiven.
