Dreadnought Remiel Remiel's mortal body ceased to walk among his comrades-in-arms many centuries ago. As a member of the Deathwing he was "killed" in an action during the destruction of the genestealer infested hulk "Spawn of Heresy". Upon cessation of his Terminator Armour's life support function, he was automatically teleported back to the Dark Angel's Battle Barge where he was preserved by the apothecaries and interred within the mighty sarcophagus of a recently reactivated Dreadnought. Remiel had been renowned with Chapter for his aggressive spirit and skill with Lightning Claws. Because of this reputation the Techmarines fitting the Dreadnought, equipped it with the short range assault cannon, and an awesome close combat power fist. Remiel has continued to provide admirable service in the search for the fallen and in the crusades of war against his Emperor's enemies. Type: Walker. Crew: One Ancient Deathwing Space marine. Dreadnought Venerari the Revered Venerari (The Revered) was once a mighty Dark Angel warrior and companion to Lion El'Jonson, fighting at his side during the Great Crusade. Later, after the disappearance of the Chapter's Primarch, he rose through the Inner Circle to became the Grand Master of the Deathwing, leading the mighty Terminator armoured company in their quest to locate the Fallen, all the while maintaining a righteous campaign of vengeance against all the Emperor's foes. For millennia now, he has continued to fight alongside his beloved Deathwing, never relinquishing the search for his Fallen former comrades, forever interned within the armoured sarcophagus of a Dreadnought. Venerari insisted his Dreadnought sarcophagus be painted to represent both aspects of the Dark Angels combining into one entity - the darker green of the standard Marine troops which make up the majority of the Chapter, and the bone-white of the elite Deathwing. Land Raider Phobos Pattern Mk III - Malignus Malignus is a standard Mark III Land Raider, which over the centuries in the Deathwing has become renowned for its steadfast service and reliability. No other Land Raider in the Chapter has been awarded more armoured vehicle kills in one engagement alone, Malignus accounted for two whole companies of Renegade Guard Leman Russ's. Malignus's steadfast defence of a small Dark Angels Detachment during the Ordemis Secondus campaign has been immortalised through the addition of a stanza in the Chapter's sacred Litany of Battle. It is the only Land Raider to have this honour. |

Land Raider Crusader Phobos Pattern - Annihilus Annihilus The Land Raider Crusader is a venerable member of the Deathwing. As the Chapter's only Land Raider that has been upgraded to the "Crusader" status, Annihilus is revered by the First Company's Marines as a line-breaker and battle winner. Annihilus was awarded the special upgrade, after what could have proved a disastrous battle for the Dark Angels had the Land Raider not participated. His crew temporarily out of action, Annihilus charged an Iron Warrior Renegade Marine position destroying the lascannon taratula and crew that had been pinning down the Dark Angel's advance. |
