Deathwing Squad Drakus Drakus forms the final squad in the strike force. His role is to support the advance of the Master. To this end the squad is armed with a variety of weapons, including a heavy flamer and an assault cannon. The combined might of Brother Veneron wielding the assault annon and Brother Romus advancing |
with a fiery heavy flamer has been a winning combination in many assaults. The role of this squad is to advance in their land raider transport, slightly behind and to one flank of their commander. The high volume of close in firepower is more than adequate to support the command squad as it rushes to launch itself in to the enemy lines. |
Blows of the Mighty Hammer The true might of the imperium can be seen etched in to every fabric of the venerable vehicles the land raiders are. They are by every description gigantic in their stature within the imperium, the stories of their actions merging from legend to myths. The advance of three land raiders towards any enemy can be very unnerving, yet the terror they unleash when they disgorge their deadly cargo is something rarely witness even in the bloody battlefields of the 41st millennium. The command squad is allocated the landraider crusader variant. Hammer of Thor is the name given this vehicle to boldly ride in to battle, protecting its cargo and laying down a withering hail of suppressive fire.By Shatterboom |
