Captain Everson, Lieutenant Fahlderton and Lieutenant Grissleby pilot the Typhoon and the two Tornadoes. They supply heavy support for the assault troops and can provide valuable recon information for the 3rd Company commanders. It is not unusual to see these three machines skimming around the rear fringes of the enemy troops, punching holes in their heavy weapon support squads. |
Lieutenant Lyle Retnar and his Ravenwing land speeder. Retnar flies support for Captain Blochial, who leads the Ravenwing bike squadron (3 bikes). These 3 bikes and 1 land speeder are all of the 3rd Company's Ravenwing that survived the battle on Grifton's Planet. Blochial and his small command are a bunch of raving lunatics and he has personally been reprimanded by Colonel Ja-eer for ignoring orders and charging into the thick of battle on several occassions. |
Assault Squad #7 - "The Red Blades", Assault Squad #7 - "The Red Blades", led by Veteran Sergeant Wanst. The sergeant is armed with a power fist and master-crafted chainsword. Each squad member has a red chainsword, in honor of the angel blood spilled on Grifton's Planet. Two of the men have plasma pistols, for quick bar-b-que's and the rest are armed with bolt pistols. This squad is frequently joined by Father Bliphome |
Assault Squad #8 - "Dragon's Teeth", Assault Squad #8 - "Dragon's Teeth", led by Veteran Sergeant Vifoltix. The sergeant is armed with a power fist and master-crafted dagger. Each member of this squad is armed with a dagger (large enough to be called a short sword). Two of the men have plasma pistols, so that they can join The Red Blades for bar-b-que's and Tyranid roasts. The rest are armed with bolt pistols. This squad is also frequently joined by Father Bliphome. |
Devastator Squad #9 & #10 Devastator Squad #9 - "Let Them Eat Plasma", led by Sergeant Jurl Donbo. Six bolters, two heavy bolters, a lascannon and a plasma cannon. Devastator Squad #10 - "Earthshakers", led by Sergeant Keck Donbo, who is Jurl Dunbo's twin brother. Actually, Jurl and Keck have 223 identical twin brothers, since they are both a product of genetically enhanced cloning techniques. Six bolters, two heavy bolters, a lascannon and a plasma cannon. "Old Samuel & Betsy" "Old Samuel" - Predator Anihilator commanded by Lieutenant Kilrag "Evil Eye" Johansen. This is the 3rd Company's armor killer - armed with twin-linked lascannons both on the turret and in the sponsons, this vehicle has been responsible for over 375 confirmed combat tank kills. Also, "Evil Eye" Johansen just loves to blow the living hell out of buildings, especially when they have Dark Eldars inside them. "Betsy" - Vindicator commanded by Sergeant Finn Terwoody. Ain't nothing that will keep an ork company quivering in their boots quite like the scream of a demolisher cannon. During the battle on Grifton's Planet, Sergeant Terwoody ran out of ammunition and drove Betsy right through the middle of the Necron army. He was quoted as saying, "The bastards don't get up quite as fast when you back a tank up over their butts a couple of times." |
