Tactical and Scout Squads Master Radovan favours rapid mobility but always asigns a strong section of scouts and second company bikers for advanced reconnaissance. Tactical squads provide the main back-bone to the Death Angels. Rhino armoured personnel carriers provide mobility while scouts, led by veteran scout sergeants ensure steady reconnaissance. |
Assault & Bike Squads The fast attack elements are provided by both jump-pack equipped assault squads and bike mounted squads. These add the much needed assault factor to the strike force. Radovan's preference is to support his assault troops with an armoured advance by his tactical squads. |
Heavy Support The much needed artillery support comes in the form of a devatator squad, a dreadnought kitted for medium range fire and close combat and finally the land raider, which also doubles as the Terminator Squad transport. |
