Strike Force Valhallan is named after a relief force sent off to the planet of that name during the massive ork invasion which ocured soon after the asteroid collision which converted the planet in to an iceworld. The force arrived too late to influence the actual battle on Valhalla, but continued their mission by wiping out nearby ork incursions.

perhaps the most unique command squad within the Dark Angels Strike forces. He generally leads his force in to battle mounted in his razorback transport which also provides heavy long range and mobile fire support. The command squad itself constitutes atleast two apothecaries and two techmarines along with the standard bearer. This underlies Uriel's philosophy of attaching significanc to redundancies on the battlefield. Nearly always the command razorback is supported by a dreadnought armed for close combat.

Tactical & Scout Squads The main line strength of the force lies in it's tactical troops. Three full tactical squads provide the backbone to the force always accompanied by two squads of scouts. As in Piscina IV the scouts played a vital role in tracking and identifying concentrations of ok forces.
