Second Tactical Squad Second Tactical Squad has long been the best performing unit attached to "Strike Force Vendetta". Veteran Sergeant Lucien's inspirational leadership has made the squad fight with an almost unparalleled fury and devotion. Their rhino, whose machine-spirit is named "Gladius", has served them well, and regularly transports them into the thick of battle. Recently, during the Carthusia Campaign, the squad was instrumental in securing victory from the Traitor Guards, after Interrogator-Chaplain Boreaus had been incapacitated. Battle-Brother Nithin, who wields the flamer, has cleansed many traitorous Guardsmen and foul aliens in its purifying fire. |
Deathwing Squad Valerian Squad Valerian was originally attached as an Honour Guard for the esteemed Daedalus, but when it became clear that that would not be necessary, they have been deployed in almost every conflict the strike force has taken part in. If not for the sterling efforts of Haifon, the squad would have become inoperable years ago, as their presence on the field attracts disproportional amounts of incoming fireBrothers Deimar and Justus wield the squad's Assault Cannons with an efficiency that can only be achieved through centuries of continual practice. |
Dreadnoughts Balac and Isiah Balac and Isiah have both served the Chapter for millennia. Balac, armed with a twin-linked Lascannon has been the scourge of many enemy vehicles, whilst Venerable Brother Isiah uses his Assault Cannon to shred and destroy what enemies there might be within range. Recently, Balac has become ever more difficult to wake from his slumber, whilst Isiah seems to be constantly awake. This development is troubling Haifon, who is paying careful attention to future developments |
Third Tactical Squad Third Squad is another unit filled with extremely dedicated marines, and led by their Sergeant, Cadfael, they have held the line at times of desperate crisis and need. Their Lascannon and meltagun has reaped a great harvest amongst the enemy's armoured units, and they have become feared throughout the Damocles Gulf for their unerring accuracy |
Fourth tactical Squad Fourth Squad, under the courageous leadership of Veteran Sergeant Raziel, has only recently been attached to "Strike Force Vendetta". Their Plasma Cannon and meltagun has slain many foes of the Imperium, and they are specially trained to deal with heavy infantry, such as Crisis Suits which are often encountered amongst the forces of the Tau Empire. |
