Armoury: Leonis is equipped with a customised suit of power armour grafted to parts of his body, with bionics reconstructing his broken limbs. Leonis is well practised in the arts of the blade, and wields a powersword in battle. A standard issue Bolt Pistol is always at his side. A bionic eye restores what sight he lost in his battle with the Exarch. The Master's mantle adorns his shoulder's indicating his rank amongst the Angels of the Lion. The ashes of his mentor hang from belt as a Relic of the AotL.
Current Position: Through incredible prowess and survival in battle, Leonis rose through the ranks of the Angels of the Lion to become the Master of the 4th Co. This role in the Angels of the Lion is pivotal to Leonis as the preservation of his former Master's honor and he uses it to not only assist the AotL in their persuit of the fabled primarch El'Jonson, but also to wage a more personal war against the vile Xenos.
Famous Achievements: In the battles against the Morgoth raiding parties from the Eye of Terror, Leonis followed Commodus through a victorious campaign ending in his replacement of Commodus as Sgt, following Commodus's promotion to Master of the 4th company in 3669899.M41.
As Sgt. Leonis saw his younger dreams fullfilled further with assignment to distant regions against the Ork scavenger fleets from Dregruk to the Eldar raids on Hydraphur and Cypra Mundi. It was here that Commodus met his fate at the hands of a Xenos assassin, a Warp Spider Exarch of the Biel Tann craftworld who through their vile and cowardly technology surprised his unit and brought him to the ground. Witnessing his mentor's demise Leonis and his squad retalliated, destroying the Eldar unit in single combat, Leonis' sword carving through the Exarch's carapace with the fury of Lion King he had slain in what seemed an eternity ago. In the furore he bareley noticed the blade that sliced through half his helmet with the Exarch's death throws. Unperturbed by the injury, Leonis and the remaining Angels went on to defeat the raiding party and with their victorious but tragic return to Ariel, Leonis was promoted to Master of the 4th company. In a final act of duty and with a heavy heart Leonis cremated the body of his guide and mentor by the cave of the King where their bond was forged. |
