Step 3: Details.
Making purity seals is a good way to personalize any marine miniature, it agrees with background. Don't forget that a marine is a superhuman; a hero of uncountable battles so even the last marine may have battle honours. That can be represented with some purity seals, in a marine or in a vehicle (have I said that is really easy?).First cut two fine paper slip and glue them as the picture shows and make a really SMALL ball of green stuff. Make the form of
Step 4: Details

Vines are more usual in eldar armies; however the background of my army includes this insignia so I've painted one in my Land Speeder. This is one of the easiest details you can paint, paint a curved line and then small triangles as thorns. Lighting them is completely optional; in that case I didn't do it.
Another great form to personalize a miniature is painting some writings; follow the same technique as the writing of a purity seal. Write small lines and try to paint a capital letter in red. In this case (or If the main colour is dark angels green) use white skull.

Also yo can try to put a name for the vehicles or sergeant be patient and use a fine brush, results are quite good. This is a great advantage in a campaign or if you like writing backgrounds of your army. As well you can find a theme for your army and paint it anywhere.
I thought that painting your own insignia is better than use transfer sheet, and you can be definitely more proud about hem. Numbers are quit easy and other icons you can paint them good just training a little.

Finally, the last technique I mention is to put decorative chains, they are a strong decoration. You can buy it in lots of shops; fixing them with green stuff purity seals is a good idea. By the way, you can add them when the miniature is finalized or at the beginning, undercoating and painting them.

the seal with the end of a pen or something similar. Finally write with a fine brush in the paper lines that seem writing, try to put a capital letter in colour red, it's a great idea. Paint the ball with red gore and light it with blood red. Also you can wash it with scorched brown to make it more worn
