PHASE III:

Commenced: 26 March 2011.

Now I start on the actual painting. After much trawling for advice on the B+C forums and armed with a lot of information. First up was the white udnercoat as seen below followed by a spray of bleached bone. I found three cans of bleached bone, two part full and a complete one. One of the used cans was completely clogged and couldn't be used. But the remaining two were more than adequate to cover all 26 models. It was only then i learned that GW no longer produce the bleached bone spray cans!! 

At this moment I realised that my previously considered decision to completely model the terminators in their final positions, especially in order the obtain their individual and dynamic positions and add the relevant sculpts in relative positions, was going to cause havoc with my painting. The spray wasn't getting to all the nooks and cranniesas you can see below..
