CHAOS LORD vs SPACEWOLF
Another excellent battle scene but once again folied by the distance between the displays and the barriers. I was however glad to see the spacewolves at the receiving end of the battle scenes this year rather than the usual Dark Angel helmet trophies that get scattered about. |
SPACEWOLF DREADNOUGHT
A superb effort at creating a very dynamic spacewolf dreadnought. The sculpted wolf's head and the details on the limbs were simply amazing to me. |
SPACE MARINE DREADNOUGHT
An entry by B+C and EG member Aurelius Rex. Though it looks like a Dark Angel dreadnought, it in fact belongs to a DIY chapter, a successor chapter of the crimson Fists.
This is "Honoured Infernus" of the Scions of Dorn Space Marine chapter.
Excellent work, with a simple but imposing base. |
I have not presented any of the squad displays since the distance from the cabinets and the lighting made it impossible to get good photos. May be it was me, but by the time I got around to the signles sections, a lot of displays ahd been retrieved by the competitors and I too was getting tired. So on to the inquisitor sized models. Some very nice ones were present and as you can see below, quite a bit of innovation was at hand. |
INQUISITOR BAND
I couldn't honestly tell you who or what these are but the entire diorama was replete with fine detail. Excellent stuff! |
IMPERIAL GUARD SQUAD
Very nice idea, using inquisitorial henchment to create an imperial guard squad. The sniper especially was excellent. They would have benefited from being placed on a scenic base, the lack of which detracts from an otherwise excellent idea. |
DARK ANGEL vs TRAITOR
A massive project, and although the Dark Angel is on the receiving end of the chaos minion and his steed, this is another display that I thoroughly enjoyed.Cimmerian legion - Angels of Deliverence |
