The Fourth Fortress Event The summer of 2006 heralds the coming of a grand conflict in the medusa V system. As the contenders prepare themselves, each with their own agenda, so do the Unforgiven yet again reform for battle. An eerie message aired through an ancient device deep within the Ork held territories, has been intercepted and relayed to the Dark Angels command. The scourge of Piscina IV, Nazdreg Ud Urdgrub himself is said to be leading the Ork waagh to Medusa V. Master Belial, at the head of the third company has mobilized immediately to exact revenge on the warlord for the destruction wrought at Piscina V. Supreme Grandmaster Azrael has declared summoned strike forces from all unforgiven and successor chapters to gather at Medusa V. He has named the coming campaign the "Sword of Retribution!" This summer, vengeance shall be ours! Retribution shall be dealt to the warlord with Sword and Bolter! Ork blood will wash the landmass of Medusa V. The Inner Circle is once again mobilizing to provide our Unforgiven brethren an added dimension of enjoyment to parallel the GW Summer Campaign in Medusa V. This shall take the form of a narrative campaign where you can all participate, the details of which will be released in due course. To start the planning and stimulate the frenzy, the Fortress site is putting together three separate contests, two of which will end in time for the beginning of the campaign. Hopefully this should provide you with the stimulus to create a new commander for your campaign and atleast one new squad. To follow on during the campaign and after is the Fortress Surprise Contest, which will end up with many surprise prizes to surprise winners. We have also designed a  simple campaign badge for you to us eon your armies so that you may recognize fellow Sword of Retribution Campaigners on the battle field. In addition, those who submit their squad for the competition will have the pleasure of seeing a single large collage of all such squads merged in to one photo.

Sword of Retribution Campaign Badge The campaign badge was designed by none other than Master Belial himself. His utter hatred for orks

was well known especially for the two leaders of the Waagh that devastated Piscina V. This campaign badge depicts the revenge he so craves. The black circle depicts the vengeance of the unfogiven. The green rectangle depicts the orks as the aim of their hatred while hiding its true meaning to other imperial forces and the red speartip indicates the Sword of retribution.
