ANGELS ASCENDANT SCORING SYSTEM
SCORING PROCESS
Each squad, unit and independent character will be marked on the quality of modelling and the quality of the history submitted by you. Points will be awarded under 5 separate categories. You can score a maximum of 510points in each category giving a total maximum score of 50 points.
Quality of modeling (10 points)
Each unit / independant character will be scored in the following manner for a maximum of 5 points. Once all units / independant character has been scored, they will be added and an average calcualated.
2 point - Basic paint job including the base. 2 point - Shading / high lighting. 2 point - Minor conversion/s 2 point - Major conversion/s 2 point - Background scenary used for photography
Quality of background history (10 points)
Each unit / independant character will be scored in the following manner for a maximum of 5 points. Once all units / independant character has been scored, they will be added and an average calcualated.
2 point - unit / independant character are named 2 point - Weapons and wargear described 2 point - Basic Battle history of the unit 2 point - Detailed Battle history of the unit - 2 point - Squad leader/vehicle commander individually detailed
So each squad/unit/character can earn a maximum of 10 points for modeling and f10 points for the background making a total of 20 points maximum score. Each unit will be thus scored out of 10, and then an average calculated for your army. That is all the scores will be added together and divided by the number of units/characters/squads in the army to give your average of 1-10 points.
To this a further overall score will be added by the moderators.
Overall visual effects (10 points)
The whole army will be assessed for its overall visual appeal and be given a score between 1-10 based on the single photo of the entire army..
Size of the submitted army (10 points)
1 point for every 1000 points of army up to a maximum of 5000 points. Any army that is submitted containing more than 5000 points will score a bonus point of +5 point.
Number of Units (10 points)
1-5 units - 2 point 6-10 units - 4 points 11-15 units - 6 points 16-20 units - 8 points
> 1 independent character - +2 point
Maximum 10 points
Total Score (50 points)
So ultimately each army will be able to score a maximum of 50 points.
You must score a minimum 30 points to be eligible for a prize. |
