The campaign is conducted by playing each scenario in sequence. There are specific conditions attached to victory and defeat in each scenario. These affect the set up and unit structures in the subsequent sceanrio. Some missions have to be played more than once as described in the additional rules to mimick to
Eternity of War
Scenario I: If ya want sumfin' done

Play the scenario as describes in the missions card.

Ork Victory:
Proceed as normal to the next scenario, The dark cathedral.

Dark Angel Victory:
The inability to capture the second power house severely restricts Ork reinforcemants. This results in the increase in cost for Nazdreg in fielding Dreadnoughts, Killer kans, and Vehicles. The cost of thoseunits will double in the subsequent scenarios of Nazdreg's war, and if they double for any other reason, then they must be tripled.

Scenario II: Dark Catherdral

Each player rolls a D6. Add the values and divide by two. This number reflects the number of times the Dark Angel basilica is attacked.

Each player rolls a D6 again to determine the attacker and defender as described in the mission card.

At the end of the first battle the winner, ie the one who holds the most quarters retains position of the Basilica and becomes the defender for the next game. The looser becomes the attacker for the next game. This is repeated for each time this scenario is played.

At the end of each game all surviving units of both sides that are capable of holding  table quarters ( units above 50% strength or mobile vehicles) are added to the standard force of the next battle. So if you were playing a 1500 point game, after the first game you would choose a 1500 point force for the second game and add your survivors to it.

This reflects a progressive escalation of the conflict as both side pour more troops in to the battle. It will also force players to conserve their forces during a battle rather than blindly attacking the enemy. The player who holds the Basilica after the last game wins the scenario.

Ork Victory:
Every Ork victory (not just the final game) will reduce the size of the Dark Angel force in Hold the Line by 5%.

Dark Angel Victory:
Every Dark Angel victory will allow one Dark Angel unit in reserve to add +1 to the reserve roll until it arrives. ( so that a particular unit will arrive on a 3+ on turn 2, and 2+ on turn 3 and automatically on turn 4) The Dark Angel player must choose which specific units will be affected by this ability at the beginning of hold the line scenario.

Scenario III: Cut and Run

The scenario is played as described in the mission cards. The scenario must be played repeatedly until the Dark Angels achieve a victory.

Ork Victory:
For each time the game is played after the first time, subsequent Ork armies for the rest of the campaign can be increased by 5%. This reflects the late detection of the Orks tele-porters and their ability to bring in more troops before the dark Angels can intervene.

Dark Angel Victory:
The earlier the Dark Angels succeed the better it is for them subsequently as the Ork forces will not be increased any further.
">
">
">
">
Scenario IV: Hold the Line

This is played exactly as described in the mission cards, taking in to account the results of Dark Cathedral and Cut and Run.

Ork Victory:
If the Orks achieve an outright victory as described in the mission cards, then the Orks have smashed through the Dark Angels lines and broken through to Ghazhkull's forces in Kadillus harbour, achieving a strategic victory. This allows them to successfully bring in greater reinforcements, forcing the dark Angels to abandon the planet. The campaign ends at this point

If on the other hand, the orks achieve a tactical victory (using victory points) then subsequent Dark Angels forces will be reduced by 5% for the rest of the campaign.

Dark Angels Victory:
Any Dark Angel victory will force the orks to reduce their forces by 5% in subsequent scenarios for the duration of the campaign. The Dark Angels cannot achieve a strategic victory.
