Master Lordrake As is the norm with the Dark Angels chapter, and particularly with the Deathwing units, the identity and details of their commanders remain an enigma. Suffice to say that this master is usually accompanied by a bodyguard of Thunerhammer and storm shield wielding Deathwing terminators. Master Lordrake has remained at the hel of his small strike force metting out the emperor's vengeance to the Charadon Orks as retribution for their invasion of the Crimson Fists homeworld. |
Squad Alpha and Beta Strike Force Drakkus is a small Deathwing force led by a Master for small scale operations. Their exploits became legendary even amongst the legends of the Deathwing. Particularly their ability to launch lightning strikes against ships and spacehulks have marked them out as an elite within the Deathwing company. The squads of the strike force have a particular animosity against the orks of the Arch Arsonist of Charadon. This was resultant from their experiences in the Charadon sub sector during the seige and invasion of the Crimson Fists homeworld. Three spacehulks on route to the invasion were boarded and destroyed by implosion by this force |
Squad Alpha and Beta Squads Alpha and Beta provide much of the required mobile fire support with their stormbolters and cyclone missile launcher. In addition they are a force to be reckoned with, when their power swords and powerfists go in to action in close combat. Well versed in close quarters combat within the confines of spaceships and space hulks, the brethren of these squads are known for their accuratcy of firepower. It isn't unusual for them to fire their cyclones down long corridors of the spaceships to exploit rapid breakthrough to critical areas. |
