Unknown Master & Command Squad Strike force Angelus Enigmaticus is the Imperial code name given to this mysterious strike force of Dark Angels who have been sighted along the Eastern fringes. Appearing suddenly and intervening at critical battles, turning the tides of victory towards the emperor's forces, they are never present in the aftermath. Inner Circle Strike Force Enigmaticus is always accompanied by an apprentice master and a Deathwing Interrogator Chaplain. Atleast two experienced librarians have also been identified in action. Finally, the standard bearer is also always on hand. This heavy grouping of senior commanders, librarians and chaplains leads the imperial archivists to believe them to be on a mission of great secrecy and importance. |
Legend has it that two high ranking and very prominent members of the chapters command hierarchy were honoured many eons ago by internment in to the sacred sarcophagi.
