Strike force Decimus is an unusually large and formidable combat force deployed by the Dark Angels chapter in the Eastern Fringes of the Imperium. Led by the enigmatic Grandmaster Decimus and always accompanied by Master Aurelius the purpose of this force has eluded the imperial scholars for |
decades. They entire battle force is constantly on the move, adequately supported by the battle barges and frigates of the dark ANgels chapters. Their very frequent appearances close to the Realms of Ultramar has caused consternation not only amongst the Imperial commanders but also withing the ranks of the Ultramarines and that of the inquisition. Supreme Grandmaster Azrael, Keeper of the Truth and current chapter master of the Dark Angels has been seen personally leading this force in to battle on atleast two occasions. It is likely that their mission is of utmost importance to the chapter for this degree of involvement from the inner circle. |
Command Elements The accompanimenyt of a high proportion of senior staff, namely librarians and interrogator-chaplains from the inner circle is further proof to the enormity of responsibility that rests on Decimus' shoulders. They always accompany the Grandmaster along with his body guard and sacred standards. An unknown master of the Deathwing, clad in his holy tactical dreadnought armour is also usually seen in Decimus' company. |

Tactical Squad Barbarus Veteran Sergeant Barbarus ahs led the tactical squad since the time they left the scout program. Armed with a plasma pistol and poweer fist, this small 6-man squad is highly mobile, thanks to their transport redemptor. |
The suqad is fitted out for mobility and firepower, being amred entirely with the standard issue bolters as their main weapon. A characteristic feature of Strike Force Decimus is the holy sigils painted on all their vehicles depicting their reverance and piety. |
