Davidson, Grand Master of the Librarians & Command Squad
Librarian Davidson had served with the 3rd company for many years, and so when he insisted that Azrael's force was in danger Master W broke a direct order to investigate. Davidson had received a premonition of the danger, which he believed was sent form the Emperor.
In battle Davidson's powers are terrible to behold. With the protection of his ancient Iron Halo and the power of his Force Sword channeling his energy, Davidson has felled many mighty opponents. On Chronik where the Dark Angels were fighting the Tyranids, Davidson beheaded a mighty hive tyrant and its tyrant guards. On Freden VII, again using use Force Sword, he cut down a chaos sorcerer lord of Nurgle. |
Deathwing Squad Uriel
Deathwing Squad Uriel is one of the three Deathwing units assigned to Battle Force Fury, and rides into battle in the mighty Landraider Redemption. The squad is armed for a tactical role, able to take on any type of enemy that it could face. Troops are shot down by Storm Bolter and Assault Cannons, and the Redemption's Lascannons is more than a match for heavily armoured targets. In close quarters troops are torn apart by Lightning Claw and Powersword, while enemy amour is destroyed by Powerfist and Chainfist.
This flexible armament makes Deathwing squad Uriel extremely useful in battle, the Redemption's massive armour plates are capable of wistanding incoming fire as it advances into enemy lines, while the Deathwing inside prepare to disembark and rip the heart out of the enemy. |
mercilessly cut down by Lightning Claw and Thunder Hammer. The squad then proceeded to rampage across the rear of the tyranid lines, killing them by the dozens. The tyranid attack faltered, and then was destroyed by the Dark Angels as they counter-charged. |
Dreadnought Sancho
Sancho served in the Deathwing as a sergeant when he fell in battle. The Dark Angels were fighting a bloody battle against the Death Guard, and Sancho and his squad teleported into battle in the midst of the enemy. The five Deathwing Terminators came face to face with a Death Guard lord and his retinue of chaos terminators. The two forces clashed in a rage of mutual hatred as powerfist and powersword smashed into each other. Sancho confronted the Nurgle Lord and bested him, although he received a grievous wound in the process.
Unfortunately the blade used by the Death Guard lord was coated in disease-ridden filth, and Sancho's wound became festering. Despite the attentions of the apothecaries the disease spread through Sancho and he fell unconscious, feared to never recover. The apothecaries and techmarines theorized that it would be possible to stop the disease if Sancho was hard wired into a Dreadnought body, and so Sancho was reborn to again fight the enemies of mankind.
Since being interred into a Dreadnought Sancho has continued to fight alongside the members of the Deathwing acting as a mobile armoured platform as he advances into the enemy, Plasma Cannon burning heretics and traitors by the dozens. |
Davidson is currently leading expeditions against the forces of warlord Makaar. On Delios the previous Grand Master of the Librarians fell, and when the Dark Angels withdrew it was without the Book of Salvation. The orks do not realise the nature of the tome, but Makaar is aware of its importance to the Dark Angels and has chained it to the front of his battlewagon. This is a mighty insult to the Dark Angels, especially to the Librarians, and so Supreme Grand Master W has given Davidson a large portion of the battle group to seek out Makaar and recover the Book.
Veteran Sergeant Reid and his squad were originally from the 7th company until they were inducted into a command squad for the Librarius. They formed Librarian Davidson's command squad during the Allsore campaign and have performed that role ever since. They accompany the now Grand Master of the Librarians in his mission to recover the Book of Salvation, and Reid has commanded squadrons himself in missions against Makaar's forces. An ork zapp cannon battery destroyed the squad's previous rhino, so they are field testing the new mark II variant rhino, which so far has been performing admirably. The squad's specialists are usually split up for battle in order to get the most out of their skills. Apothecary O'Connor is quite bloodthirsty for a Dark Angel, and so is an ideal addition to the 8th Assault squad, where his medical and fighting skills are most useful. Techmarine Thomas is often assigned to the 9th Devastator squad, where he can direct their firepower into more accurate and devastating salvos. Veteran Sergeant Reid remains at Davidson's side, leading the remainder of the squad in battle and in defense of their commander. Reid protected Davidson in the battle against the hive tyrant and bodyguard, personally slicing his powerword through the neck of one of the guards. |
The squad proved its worth beyond doubt when Thousand Sons marines had attacked several squads of Dark Angels by surprise. The Dark Angels were ill equipped to deal with the Thousand Sons, as their bolters proved ineffective against the warrior's relentless advance. Then the Redemption showed up, and Lascannons tore through the Thousand Sons lines. Uriel and his men disembarked and ripped into the Thousand Sons with Powerfist and Lightning Claw, carrying the day for the Dark Angels. Deathwing Squad Adonai is armed for close quarter fighting, where it's Heavy Flamers and Lightning Claws make short work of enemy troops. The squad prefers to teleport in battle, usually behind enemy lines where the sudden appearance of six heavily armed terminators can cause armies to route.
In the battle against the Tyranids on Chronik, Deathwing squad Adonai teleported behind the main bulk of the advancing horde. Several broods of termagaunts and hormagaunts diverted from the assault to deal with the new threat, reliving the embattered Dark Angels. Those tyranids that made it past the Heavy Flamers were |
