Strike Force Gannius Strike force Gannius was created as a composite, well rounded force, one of the many ad hoc strike forces created during the roiling conflict that was the thirteenth black crusade. Interrogator Chaplain Gannius came to pre-eminence during this campaign, intervening in many battles where the outcome was in balance. Strike Force gannius became the sword of retribution that suddenly assaulted without warning and smote the emperor's enemies. Such was the fighting spirit and combat efficacy of the strike force, Supreme Grandmaster Azrael himself led them in to battle on a number of occasions. |
At other times his trusty lieutenant, grandmaster of the Librarians, Ezekiel would take his place. Gannius paid homage to these honoured commanders by assigning his entire command squad as their bodyguard. Similar to the closeness between the supreme grandmaster of the Dark Angels and his chief librarian, Gannius had a firm bond with Lexicanium Vastus. Both loved the sounds of battle and always led from the fore, most often seen armed with jump packs and leaping in to the thick of fighting. When leading his command squad in to bttle however, Gannius prefered the simplicity of his command rhino. |

Tactical Squad Lazarus Veteran sergeant Lazarus favours the use of a powerfist and the enhanced firepower of the stormbolter. He has led his squad with distinction, their constant training and plasma weaponry had reaped a bitter harvest amongst the blasphemed followers of the son of horus. |
