Famous Achievements: Recruited from the semi-feudal world of Barham IX, Raziel was the second son of the local miller. Displaying an unusual mechanical aptitude from his birth, he won the honor of selection during the summer solstice tournament. As a novice, he was always the fastest in completing his weapon maintenance rituals and showed an unusual affinity for all types of machine spirits. As a scout-sniper, Raziel was considered a crack shot. During a raid on the Ork-held world of Urgah, he was credited with the kill shot that took down the Warlord Ugatra-huk. Later during resultant withdrawal, Raziel commandeered a War-Truk to transport two wounded marines to the extraction zone. Soon after his elevation to Battle-Brother, he served under Brother-Captain (now Grand Master) Michael in the Purging of the Artemis II. Without regard to his own safety, he charged a bunker filled with a traitor PDF heavy weapons team. Using the heretic's lasercannon, he disabled two advancing Leman Russ main battle tanks. After the battle he was transferred to the Ninth Company for devastator training. During his training, his mechanical skills were fully-recognized and he was sent to Mars for training as a tech-priest. After completion the shadowy training, he returned to the company a changed marine. |
Working under the Master of the Forge, Raziel was sent to support now Grand-Master Michael marines in the Fifth Company's Rapid Strike Force. Serving as a frontline Tech-marine, he aids the Devastator squads, directing their fire to an awesome effect. Although wounded during the successful defense of the Whirlwind battery on Gradius, he was able to hold off the Slaanesh-corrupted traitors until Terminator Assault troops arrived. He was responsible for the death of Inquisitional assassin in Hand to Hand combat during the siege of the Temple of Forgotten Stars on verdant world of Ragia. During the recent battles on Telemon, he was responsible for the downing of a Wraithlord that had broken through the frontlines. |
