Origin: "Forget your past life. From this day on you are simply a Dark Angel nothing else is of consequence. The Chapter is all that matters" With those immortal words Halon was welcomed into the Dark Angels. Born on Thracia IV, a regular recruiting world of the Dark Angels, a tribal society with a bronze age level of technology. Thracia is by no means a death world but it does have its share of predators, including a small but active population of barbaric Orks kept in check by the tribal humans. This need breeds excellent warriors, a situation which the Dark Angels exploit to provide a steady source of able recruits. In 960.M41 The Dark Angels visited Thracia taking several of the best warriors, a tradition ingrained into the society for over a millennia where the 'Star Warriors' would take away the best of the youth to fight for them, including Halon. Passing the numerous initiation rites Halon was accepted as a battle brother within a decade and his career progressed rapidly. Over the next quarter of a century his skill, bravery and leadership ability got him promoted to Sergeant and Veteran Sergeant very quickly, where he led from the front as an assault marine, preferring the crash of hand to hand combat where he excelled. Halon was a person who could inspire his men not through relentless barracking but through compassion and inspiration, his men wanted to excel of their own volition. This, combined with a tactical savvy that may one day even see him command a company or possibly even the chapter has ensured his place in the Dark Angels. |
Armoury: Artificer Armour, Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol Current Position: Veteran Sergeant leading Assault Squad Halon in the third Company under Captain Ahadiel. Famous Achievements: 01227990.M41 Halon assaults a Greater Daemon of Khorne and survives, combined with an exemplarily record he is inducted into the Deathwing. 01951996.M41 Halon assaults and destroys a unit of Necron destroyers and their Lord. 01336997.M41 - Along with Terminator Squad Anael, Chaplain Marius and Captain Ahadiel Assault squad Halon took on and killed a traitor Chaplain and Death Company. The traitor and his troops possessing the lucky number six of chaos, had a huge tally of victims, and had been up till that point been undefeated. 01459998.M41 - Halon and squad assaults and destroys using melta charges a battery of Iron Warrior Basilisks that had been wreaking havoc on allied troops, going on to sweep through the enemy rear. 01886998.M41 Squad Halon takes heavy casualties but succeeds in annihilating a unit of Khorne Aspiring Champions. |
