DEATHWING CENTRAL

The Deathwing Central site opens with an image of terminators taking the fight to the enemy.
With a brief welcome, introduction, sided with links to a forum at Dysartes.com and a link for submiting articles through e-mail, we get to the "juicy" part of the site.

The site is divided in two parts. On the left side, and scrolling down we have a gallery of several Deathwing armies, painted and modelled to great standards including armies from a number of well known personalities. Some of the galleries show work in progress of the models so they're a great aid for conversions. On the right side, and scrolling down we have the article section. This features painting guides, army lists and army selection guides and battle reports of Deathwing armies. There is also background information on the ranks, weapons and armor of terminators.

This is an unusual site in that little of the content is created on the site. Rather, the webmasters have taken the task of accumulating the vast amount of information from a wide variety of web sites by directly linking with the relevant sections. All in all a site easy to navigate and provides an excellent concentration of Deathwing goodness to all the Deathwing commanders out there.

This is a web site dedicated to a home grown Drak Angel successor chapter. The entire site is dedicated to the chapter's history and activity without dilution from other articles. The site is very well designed with an easy interface and navigation. The sub sections are simply dIvided in to Headquarters, Elites, Fast Attack, Troops and Heavy Support sections just like the codex. Each section provides the stats and background of each character and unit in the army. A great detail of information is provided about this one single army.

Every unit is displayed with its own imagery. The quality of the modelling and painting is excellent. The only other section is the links section.

Unfortunately this site has not been updated since the year 2001 and has no contact information for the web master. However, if it were intended as a display site this single army only, it has indeed served its purpose very well.
