INTRODUCTION Welcome to the second Fortress Mega Competition, YE ANGELS GATHER! This is a competition that is being held within the walls of the Fortress of the Unforgiven to celebrate the third anniversary of its existence. Although commencing belatedly, it is designed to also celebrate the inventiveness and creativity of the gamers and hobbyists who form the bulwark of this hobby that we all so dearly love. Like all things that are displayed in the Fortress site this contest also aims to maintain a high standard of contestants. The competition is aimed at stimulating your imagination in giving life to successor chapters of the Dark Angels. The actual competition comprises of three different parts and therefore may seem somewhat complex when compared to other competitions on the web. But the rewards for the effort you put in are indeed great. So don't be overawed by the requirements, just read on. The three segments of the competition are as follows: 1. Banner of the Unforgiven     This segment is all about designing the banner/chapter standard for your home grown unforgiven chapter. 2. Colour of the Unforgiven This section allows you to show off the colour scheme of your chapter by painting a single model.       3. Index Infidelis Venia This is the main component of the competition, the background story of your successor chapter. So, what do you gain by entering the competition? Well, I think you stand to gain quite a few things. First of all, you get to compete against your fellow hobbyists in creating your own chapter. This contest is unique as it tests various aspects of the hobby, including background creativity, artistic skill, innovativeness, painting skills and conversions skills. Secondly, all entries which pass the minimum score requirements will be posted on a special section within the Fortress of the Unforgiven web site. The entrant's name (or web pseudonym) will be listed and full credit given to him/her. In addition their names will be listed in the Halls of Honour on that web site and linked to their submission page. So you will have some claim for fame. Finally, and most importantly, there are the goodies that will be given out as prizes. The prizes are mostly difficult to come by models and are some of my prized possessions. That should give you some idea of how seriously I take the running of this contest.
