Scout Bike Squad
The basic fast attack choices in a scout company army list.

Additional Rules:

Mobile snipers: Mounted scouts may be equipped with sniper rifles for +5 points each. However they cannot use their sniper rifles while mounted on their bikes. During their movement phase, the squad may elect not to move and dismount instead, and deploy their sniper rifles from behind their bikes.

As long as they don't subsequently move, they count as being in cover (+5 inv save) for shooting and assault, may use their sniper rifles and still get the benefit of the T5 from the bikes as they lie under cover of their bikes.          

In any subsequent turn, they may mount their bikes in their movement phase and make a normal move, but may not dismount in that same turn.
Scout Assault Squad
These are specialised scouts trained in rapid deployment and assault from speeders.

Squad: Consist of 1-2 assault teams each team consists of 4 scouts and a veteran sergeant on a scout assault speeder.(The necessary point costs must be paid.) Each team acts independantly from each other.

Weapons & Wargear: Each scout is armed with a bolt pistol and CCW,and blind grenades.

Options: Any scout may replace their BP/CCW with a boltgun or shotgun for free. Two scout may be armed with the following: plasmagun at +6 points, melta gun at +10 points and famer at +6 points. The whole squad maybe armed with frag grenades for +1 point and krak grenades for +2 points per model.

Scout Assault Landspeeder
This is a pared down version of the SM landspeeder. The extra targetting equipment and heavy weapons have been removed to make space for troop carrying capacity. The fuselage is lengthened to carry 5 scouts in the back
Assault Speeder                      60                   10                 10                  10            4
Type: Fast, Skimmer, Open topped.

Weapons: Stormbolter for the gunner.

Additional Rules:

Rapid deployment: The special speeder may carry up to 5 scouts (due to their light armour and modifications to the speeder). When empty, the speeder is treated as a normal SM landspeeder and may travel the full 24".

If the squad remains embarked, the maximum distance travelled is 12"

If the squad disembarks within the first 12" of travel, then the speeder may continue to move for another 6" from the disembarkation point.(maximum of 18")

Once disembarked, the speeder and squad act independantly.

Open Topped: As the scouts do not wear the all enclosing power armour, the speeder is treated as an open topped vehicle an follows the rules for open topped vehicles in the warhammer 40,000 rule book.
