ADDITIONAL RULES FOR OFFICIAL SPECIAL CHARACTERS Walk with caution within these blasphemed halls. Some of the most wanted and reviled characters of the 41st millennium are described here. These men lived and fought in the glorious times when the Lion and the Emperor walked amongst men. They breached the trust and allowed their arrogance cloud their judgement. Their petty ego was their failure. The fell and forever condemned their brethren and their successors to infamy. You may field any of the following special characters in their appropriate position, only with the express permission from your opponent. The special characters must be used exactly as described and cannot be given additional wargear. The point cost and effects of their wargear is already included in their profiles.

Special Rules: Type: Walker                               Crew: One Space Marine Bladed: The Angel of Blades has many blades on his wings and legs this gives it 4 attacks. Chaos Fallen: The Angel of Blades is a Chaos Fallen and hence follows their special rules below. Weapons: Heavy bolter, Dreadnought close combat weapon, Bladed, Daemonic Possession, Living Vehicle, Parasitic Possession, Mutated Hull and Blasphemous Rune.

The Angel of Blades was formerly known as Angelus, a famous Techmarine within the ranks of the Dark Angels who whilst on a routine patrol of Caliban found a meteorite of Obsidian, he took the meteorite back to the fortress monasteries and forged a large double handed scythe that granted the bearer the strength of 100 lions. El Jonson was very impressed with the artificer's skill and promoted him to the Shadow Wing and the sword granted to Luthor as a sign of office. Whilst in the service of the Shadow Wing, Angelus sustained severe injury during the Crusade he was entombed in a Dreadnought which was repainted green and named Caliban to honour Angelus and what he had done for the chapter at the request of Chaplain Cephesus. Even as a Dreadnought Angelus was fierce and revered in battle however as the years wore on, the ancient Dreadnought required more and more rest. Whilst El Jonson continued the crusade Angelus was left to rest, however when the fall occurred on the planet Caliban El Jonson returned with one of the priorities being to recover Angelus and the Scythe, repainting their armour green in Angelus' honour they descended on the planet only to find a scrap of armour where Angelus had once been and the scythe gone. Angelus had been cast through the warp with the other fallen, and a hatred of the betrayal by his Primarch caused by El Jonson's abandonment, his death and his exposure to the warp corrupted Angelus' mind beyond recognition and he devoted himself entirely to the Chaos gods hence how he was sustained on barren world until he was found by Cephesus and the two together intend to redeem themselves and their chapter back to their former glory.
