Calth An airless planet in which large underground cities have developed in ordeer to escape from the deadly rays of Calth's blue sun. Famous for its' ship yards which also supply the Ultramar and Ultramarine fleet with most of their spacecraft requirements, it ships the majority of its food requirements from nearby Iax. During the opening phases of the Horus Heresy, Warmaster Horus tasked the Ultramarines with quelling a rebellion in the Veridian system. Guilliman decided to muster the Ultramarine fleet at Calth in preparation for the campaign while Horus ordered the Wordbearer's legion to assault the Ultramarines. The assault came as a complete surprise, and only the legendary discipline of the ultramarines and Gulilliman's brilliant tactical prowess overcame the Wordbearers.
