Realms of Ultramar

The Realms of Ultramar consist of no less than eight systems which come under the purview of the Ultramarines chapter of spacemarines. Unusually for a spacemarine chapter, the ultramarines control a number of worlds rather than a single planter, fortress of asteroid like other chapters. This is the legacy of their redoubtable primarch Roboute Guilliman. Each of the populated world in the system is self contained and is the model of productivity. The maintain their own extensive planetary defense forces and instead of paying tithe to the imperium, they do so towards the upkeep of the Realm of Ultramar and the Ultramarine chapter.
