Nocturne & Prometheus Nocturne Homeworld of the Salamanders chapter of spacemarines. Nocturne and its moon prometheus orbit each other. Nocturne is a verdant world with seas, forests and hills but the landmass is dominated by massive unpredictable volcanoes. Prometheus This is a barren rock that orbits Nocturne as its moon. It has no air nor life on its surface. The Salamanders have a small fortress monastary which accommodates the command staff forge and armoury. Most of the Salamander live amongst the population on Nocturne. There are smaller monastaries on Nocturne from where the spacemarines will muster to their Fortress when mobilized.
