Veridian This is a system of feral worlds the largest of which is Veridian Prime. During the early stages of the Horus Heresy a rebellion in this system gave Horus the excuse to order the staunchly loyal Roboute Guilliman and his Ultramarines legion to quell this rebellion. The Veridian system was at the eastern fringes and would remove the Ultramarines far from earth. However while they were mustering at Calth, Lorgar under Horus' instructions launched a surprse assault which was subsequent;y defeated by Guilliman.
