This is a large nebula of gas and dust. It is thought to occur due to the presence of an overlap of realspace and the warp. Because of the extreme and unpredictable conditions brought about by this phenomenon, it results in insurmountable difficulties in mapping, navigating and policing this segment of space. It has thus become a haven for smugglers, pirates and other undesirables. It is estimated that more than 20 ork and pirate kingdoms exist here.
