Strike Force Sobek Due to current location of the Rock [CLASSIFIED] the Dark Angels are currently involved in several unrelated conflicts against Necron, Tyranids and Chaos forces. The most experienced elements of the Deathwing and Ravenwing have been assigned to the fight against the forces of chaos. Rumours of the Fallen being in the Area abound. Every means necessary will be used to ensure they are captured depite the real threat of the Tyranid advance fleet over-running the nearby system of Ubrax . |
Grnadmaster of Deathwing Sobek Sobek Death Bringer is the current Grand Master of the Deathwing Company. He has held this most esteemed title for fifty three years after his predecessor Malakkai was mortally wounded by a chaos lord during an attack on Oban III. Sobek avenged Malakai by severing the chaos lords head with Malakais' Sword of Secrets. The chaos attack subsequently faltered and the dominions of chaos were routed and slain - Sobek accounting for no less than 24 chaos marines. It was no surpise that Sobek was promoted from Master to Grand Master of The Deathwing after the victorious battle, where he has served the Dark Angels with honour and total loyalty. Sobek rides to battle in the chapters only Land Raider Crusaider - Zeus, along with his command squad of 7 Deathwing Terminators. Sobek personally selects and trains the members of his command squad, ensuring that he rides to battle with some of the best trained marines in the chapter. |
Landraider Crusader Zeus The chapter's one and only Crusader pattern Land Raider is Sobeks personal transport, delivering Sobek and his command squad into the heart of the battle where they can smite the enemies of the Dark Angels and the almighty Emperor. With its Hurricane Bolters and twin-linked assault cannons blazing away as it closes on its target, Zeus can inflict horrendous casualties before disgorging its cargo into the enemy ranks. |
