During the imperial campaign to ward off Abaddon's thirteenth black crusade, the unforgiven chapters deployed in overwhelming force to the eye of terror. Despite the general belief that they pursued their own agenda, the combined might of the unforgiven forces under the command of Supreme Grandmaster Azrael were instrumental in causing some stinging defeats on the enemy, including personally facing the wrath of Abaddon. Within their sphere of activity, many small but strong strike forces were deployed, hitting the enemy hard and fast but also continuing their eternal hunt for their erstwhile brethren, the fallen. Epistolery Fabian and Interrogator Chaplain Ahadiel were assigned a first company strike force to root out a number of vipers nests. The superhuman strength of will that made the coe of the epistolary was forever the guiding force for this strike force. Leading the small unit with force weapon in one hand and the testament of librarium in the other, Fabian wrote a new chapter in the honoured walls of the Tower of Angels with his unstinting bravery and unstoppable combat prowess. Interrogator Chaplain Ahadiel and a Deathwing command squad were constant companions for him in this war of faith. |
Ahadiel always accompanied fabian, guarded by a Deathwing Command Squad armed for short range firefights and close combat. He is accompanied by Nestalus, from the apothecarium with his specially modified narthcium and reductors, which ensured to rapid return to duty of many an injured brother as well as the safety of the geneseed of those who had fallen in battle. |
