Strike Force Mortis As the thirteenth black crusade rolled in to the imperial space the Dark Angels were at the forefront of the fighting. As is the true nature of space marines, their commanders, from the higest echelon to the lowest sergeant were all seen to be leading strike forces at one time or the other. Strike Force Mortis is just one of many such attack groups that had the distinction of being personally led by Supreme Grandmaster Azrael. |
Command Squad As benefits such an exalted commander, the command squad was supported by their personal transport in the form of a Crusader pattern of Land Raider. The squad itself is well armed for all situations and is led by a power weapon armed sergeant and techmarine while a Deathwing veteran has the honour of bearing the squads battle banner. |
Venerable Marziel, Dreanought Supporting the command squad and taking it upon himself as his honourable duty to protect the supremem grandmaster, the venerable Marziel insisted on being attached to this strike force. Armed with deadly twin linked lascannons and able to fire a barrage of missiles, he has been the bane of enemy armour. |
