This next data file is of an assault squad from the Space Marine chapter that refer to themselves as the Angels of Vigilance. They have been spotted recently here on Medusa V. Based on the; iconography, color scheme, chapter organization, combat doctrines, and other similarities one would assume that they are a second founding from the well known space marine chapter the Dark Angels. However the Administratum currently only recognizes three second founding chapters and as such the Angels of Vigilance original founding is not entirely clear. Still their loyalty to the Emperor is unquestioned. Although they have been known in the past to follow their own way at times, as has been the case with all Chapters that refer to themselves as the "Unforgiven". Assign field operations accordingly. |
One stark difference of this chapter is that, unlike the Dark Angels, all veterans, be they of the first company or the 10th, repaint their armor bone white. As you can see here, the veteran sergeant of this company has bone armor and displays green robes. This theme is carried on even to those who are members of the "Inner Circle". A member of the Inner Circle has bone armor. His profession can be noted by the color displayed on the robes. For Veteran Sergeants, the robes are always green. For the other professions (Chaplain, Librarians, Apothecary, etc) they will wear either an appropriately colored robe, be it black, blue, etcor they may wear a green robe with the corresponding color of their profession displayed prominently throughout the robe. |
